As we anticipate continued growth for our global platform in the coming years, we are taking a comprehensive approach to evaluating and addressing any potential environmental impact and power consumption concerns. With Akamai cloud computing fully integrated into our sustainability goals, we have established strategies with an emissions-first approach as well as incorporated our cloud computing business into our IPCC RCP revised pathway approach that aligns with our alignment to corporate sustainability while supporting the growth of this emerging business segment. 

As we continue to expand the Akamai cloud computing platform, we are concurrently maintaining our classic cloud sites while we merge the two platforms. To ensure that we keep an accurate record of our emissions impact for what remains of our classic cloud sites, we will continue to report the emissions impact separately for the foreseeable future.
