The sustainability team is always seeking ways to reduce Akamai’s energy consumption and in turn, help lower our carbon footprint. We have implemented various energy-saving initiatives, such as working with our partners on more efficient data center cooling systems and optimizing our deployment configurations. This work has resulted in emissions reductions, reducing our impact on the grid, and thereby lowering our impact on our local communities where we operate and live. As a member of the global community, we are aspiring to do our part to create a more sustainable future.
